Pet route

Dumpling Squishy Race egg hatching route

Spend wins where they improve your equipped team, then unlock worlds only when the next area can pay back quickly.

Dumpling racer choosing eggs and pets near a world gate
Eggs, pets, and world gates should be planned together because they all compete for wins.

The three-hatch rule

When you reach a new egg tier, hatch a small sample before deciding whether to keep spending. If the first few hatches improve empty slots or replace weak pets, continue. If most hatches are duplicates or weaker than your equipped team, save wins for a gate, a better tier, or a longer race route.

High value

Empty pet slots

Filling every slot is usually the fastest early upgrade.

Medium value

One weak slot

Hatch only if that egg can realistically replace the weakest equipped pet.

Low value

Duplicate-heavy egg

Stop when the egg rarely changes your team and prepare the next world.

World gate spending rule

Do not unlock a world with exactly enough wins for the gate and nothing else. Keep a reserve for at least a few hatches or tests after the unlock. A new area is useful only if you can use its rewards, not just enter it once.

Player route example

  1. Fill every pet slot with the cheapest useful egg.
  2. Race until wins arrive steadily instead of slowly.
  3. Hatch the next egg until one or two equipped pets improve.
  4. Stop hatching when upgrades become rare.
  5. Save for the next gate plus a post-unlock hatch reserve.
